KEEP IT FRESH

  • Apply lotions and potions before putting on your jewellery.

  • Keep it dry - remove jewellery before washing your hands, showering, swimming or cleaning - this includes hand sanitiser!

  • Store it individually or in a jewellery box to avoid scratches and tarnishing from exposure to air.

  • Wipe it with a soft cloth regularly to keep it sparkling.

  • The best way to preserve sterling silver is actually to wear it often, so enjoy!

CLEAN IT UP

  • Wipe with a soft cloth or jewellery cloth to remove light tarnish.

  • Soak it in warm soapy water and wipe with a soft cloth, or a soft brush if you need more power. Do not use antibacterial soap as it can tarnish gold plating. Dish soap will do the trick.

  • Use specialised silver and gold products if it needs a bit more of a scrub.

  • Never use silver polish on gold jewellery as it can remove the gold plate.

  • Take it to your local jeweller for a professional clean.
