This week, we’re sharing our top tips on how to get through lockdown II. If you’ve got any suggestions, add them in the comments or share them via our Instagram.

Keep to a routine: Try to get up and go to bed at your normal time. Getting enough sleep, eating regularly and keeping hydrated will help your overall health, both physically and mentally.

Regular exercise & fresh air: Exercise is a great way to de-stress. Try and get yourself moving at least once a day to get your heart pumping and endorphins stirring. And make sure to breathe in some fresh air, even if it's just a quick walk.

Stay connected: While we may not be seeing as many people as usual, this doesn't mean we can't stay connected with others. Why not go for a walk with a friend or get back on those group zoom calls again?

Take a break: Be sure to take breaks from work, particularly when you're working from home. And take a break from scrolling through endless news articles too! It’s great to stay informed, but tuning in all the time can be detrimental.

Support local businesses: Restaurants, bars and shops are going to take another big hit over the next few weeks and without support may struggle to keep afloat. Why not treat yourself and support your local community by getting home delivery or takeaway if your local businesses are offering it.

Finally, remember this isn’t going to last forever. Stay safe, be kind and supportive to each other and don't put pressure on yourself. There's no benchmark for how you stay sane.
